1. Who we are
This Privacy Notice describes how Green Farms ("Green Farms", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal data in connection with the Green Farms platform (the "Service"). Green Farms is the controller of the personal data described here.

2. Personal data we collect
- Account data — name, email, hashed password, company name.
- Farm and listing data you submit — farm names, descriptions, KMZ boundaries, parcel identifiers, listing URLs. This may include incidental personal data if you choose to include it.
- Communications — messages you send to support and metadata about those messages.
- Usage and device data — pages viewed, actions taken, device type, browser, IP address, approximate location, and timestamps.
- Payment-related data — collected by our payment provider (see section 4). We receive a customer reference, subscription status, and the price purchased. We do not store full payment-card details.

4. Who we share personal data with
- Service providers and subprocessors — cloud hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, customer support tooling, and remote-sensing data providers. These parties only process data on our instructions.
- Paddle.com (Merchant of Record) — Paddle is the seller of record for all paid plans and add-ons. Paddle processes payments, manages subscriptions, calculates and remits applicable taxes, issues invoices, and handles refund and chargeback requests. Paddle is an independent controller for the data it processes. See Paddle's Privacy Notice for more.
- Professional advisers — accountants, auditors, and lawyers when necessary.
- Authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
5. International transfers
Some recipients (including Paddle and certain hosting providers) may be located outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
6. How long we keep personal data
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Account data is retained for the lifetime of the account plus a reasonable period to deal with disputes and enforce our agreements. Payment and invoice records are retained for the periods required by tax law.
7. Your rights
Subject to your local law, you have rights to access, rectify, or erase your personal data; to restrict or object to certain processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. You can also lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority in your country. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@greenfarm.earth; we aim to respond within one month.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review of our security practices.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used; these can be disabled in your browser.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email.
